We're looking for a VP of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing function across brand, product marketing, demand generation, content, and ecosystem strategy. You’ll own positioning, messaging, and market presence — while tightly aligning with sales, partnerships, and product to drive measurable growth.
You’ll build the strategy and the team — and work hands-on where needed.
Your Chain of Impact
Strategy
- Develop and own a full-funnel marketing strategy aligned with sales and company goals.
- Define and position our brand across all key audiences: partners, customers, developers, and media.
- Set and manage quarterly OKRs for the marketing team and its functions.
Product & Ecosystem Marketing
- Build messaging and value propositions for different buyer personas (security teams, developers, GTM, etc.).
- Develop deep partner marketing strategies — supporting co-branded go-to-market motions with infra providers, wallets, and auditors.
- Collaborate closely with product and partnerships to position new capabilities and integrations.
Demand Generation & Growth
- Own all campaigns to generate qualified pipeline (inbound, ABM, partner-led, etc.).
- Lead web, SEO/SEM, paid media, and marketing ops.
- Optimize the marketing funnel and define KPIs tied to pipeline and revenue.
- Events including dinners, conferences
Content & Thought Leadership
- Establish Blockaid as a security thought leader in Web3.
- Develop a high-quality content engine (blog, research, technical explainers, partner stories).
- Oversee brand presence at events, conferences, and on social.
Team & Leadership
- Build, manage, and scale a high-performing marketing team.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and design resources.
- Drive internal alignment across product, sales, and partnerships.
Requirements
Your Chain of Strengths
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, with 5+ years in a leadership role — ideally in security, infrastructure, or Web3.
- Proven track record owning both strategic direction and execution.
- Deep understanding of how marketing supports partnerships, sales, and product growth.
- You're analytical and creative — as excited about messaging and storytelling as you are about metrics and pipeline.
- You can operate hands-on in an early-stage company — and scale a team and systems as we grow.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in/with the Web3 ecosystem: wallets, infra, protocols, dev tools, security.
- Previous experience launching new categories or segments.
- Familiarity with technical audiences and developer-focused GTM.
Compensation & Eligibility
Compensation for this role will be influenced by several factors, such as the candidate’s professional background, skill set, and geographic location. This position includes eligibility for Blockaid’s equity program and may also offer additional incentive-based compensation.
US Range: $320-360 OTE
