Description

About Blockaid

Blockaid is the onchain security platform trusted by Coinbase, MetaMask, Uniswap, Stellar, Kraken, and World App to monitor, detect, and respond to threats across the blockchain ecosystem. Founded by former Israeli cyber intelligence operatives and backed by Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greylock, Google Ventures, Ribbit, and Variant, we’ve scanned billions of transactions, blocked tens of millions of attacks, and protected over $100 billion in user funds. As DeFi adoption accelerates and major financial institutions expand their blockchain initiatives, we’re building the security infrastructure that makes onchain operations possible at scale.

The Role

Blockaid is looking for a PMM to own how we position and communicate our security platform to the audiences shaping the future of onchain finance, from DeFi protocols and crypto-native builders to the compliance, risk, and innovation teams inside traditional financial institutions now moving onto the blockchain.

In this role, you'll combine your existing fluency with blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and crypto markets with the evolving regulatory and infrastructure landscape. You’ll build messaging, campaigns and collateral that earns the trust of technical and operational buyers alike.

You'll sit at the intersection of product and sales, shaping our ICP narrative and ensuring that every GTM motion reflects a genuine understanding of the threats our customers face and the value we deliver.

This position is hybrid out of our NYC office. We are unable to offer sponsorship or relocation for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct deep market, customer, and competitive research across crypto-native and TradFi segments, including protocols, L1/L2 ecosystems, exchanges, custodians, and financial institutions building blockchain infrastructure
  • Define and own messaging and positioning for Blockaid's platform and products, tailored to distinct ICPs
  • Translate market insights and customer learnings into campaigns, content strategies, and product narratives that drive pipeline and expand awareness.
  • Develop high-impact sales enablement materials and equip our GTM team to win! Think: battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers, objection-handling guides
  • Serve as the internal expert on the digital asset transformation happening within TradFi institutions, including relevant regulatory developments, infrastructure build-outs, and security requirements
  • Partner with Product Management on GTM strategy for new features and launches, bringing the customer and market perspective into roadmap prioritization
  • Lead product launches end-to-end: positioning, messaging, content, and cross-functional coordination
  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence program covering both direct security competitors and adjacent players in the onchain infrastructure space
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to inform and refine pricing and packaging models as the platform evolves

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related, in a B2B SaaS environment or within the web3 ecosystem. Huge bonus points for experience in a cybersecurity or cryptonative company
  • Analytical, first-principle thinker with experience developing and executing product launches and GTM campaigns with measurable outcomes
  • Comfortable owning internal relationships and translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences inside and outside the company. Speak credibly with market builders and the security teams who run them (see below)
  • Familiarity with how financial markets operate, and ability to develop deep fluency in DeFi, including: lending protocols, AMMs, bridges, liquidity pools and smart contract ecosystems.
  • Strong sales enablement instincts: you know what a sales team needs to win and you build it proactively and collaborate with our sales enablement team.
  • Excellent written communication skills; you can write a crisp one-pager, a sharp competitive brief, and a compelling blog post
  • Past startup experience is ideal! We move fast and lean and often have ambiguous requirements. You should be comfortable operating in this environment and ideally have worked in a startup before (even if the company wasn’t successful). We need someone who can onboard quickly, raise red flags, ask questions, and generally take ownership. We’ll do the same!
